Glimmers is a child-focused digital platform designed to support emotional wellbeing, creativity, learning, self-expression, community participation, educational engagement, and parent involvement through digital experiences, AI-powered tools, programs, events, and educational activities.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Glimmers platform, including our mobile applications, websites, services, content, AI features, community spaces, educational programs, Olympiads, workshops, and related offerings (collectively referred to as the "Services").

By creating an account, providing parental consent, purchasing a subscription, enrolling a child, participating in a program, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Services immediately.

Glimmers is intended for children and young people under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

To create a parent account, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
• Be the parent, guardian, or authorized caregiver of the child.
• Provide accurate and complete information.

Children may only access Glimmers where parental consent has been obtained in accordance with applicable laws.

Glimmers reserves the right to refuse registration, suspend access, or terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are not met.

By creating or authorizing a child account, you confirm that:

• You are the child's parent or legal guardian.
• You authorize the child to access and use Glimmers.
• You understand that Glimmers includes AI-powered features.
• You understand that safety systems and moderators may review content where necessary.
• You understand that Glimmers is not a substitute for therapy, counselling, medical care, crisis intervention, or emergency services.
• You agree to all policies published within the Glimmers Trust & Safety Center.

Parents may withdraw consent at any time.

Withdrawal of consent may result in suspension or deletion of the child's access to the Services.

Users are responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate account information.
• Protecting login credentials.
• Keeping Parent PINs confidential.
• Updating information when necessary.

Users must not:

• Share accounts with others.
• Impersonate another individual.
• Create accounts using false information.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts.

Glimmers may suspend or terminate accounts where account security or integrity is compromised.

Child safety is the highest priority of the Services.

Glimmers may implement safety measures including:

• Automated monitoring systems.
• AI-assisted moderation.
• Human review processes.
• Reporting tools.
• Escalation protocols.
• Parent notifications.

Where Glimmers reasonably believes that a child or another individual may be at risk, we may review relevant content, restrict access, notify a parent or guardian, or take other actions necessary to help protect users.

Users acknowledge that child safety obligations may override expectations of complete privacy.

Users agree to use the Services respectfully and responsibly.

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Bullying or harassment.
• Threatening or intimidating others.
• Hate speech or discriminatory behavior.
• Sharing personal contact information.
• Sharing passwords or account credentials.
• Uploading harmful, violent, explicit, or illegal content.
• Impersonation.
• Fraudulent activity.
• Circumvention of safety systems.
• Misuse of AI features.
• Interference with platform operations.

Repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension.

Community features including Joy Circles, chats, comments, collaborative activities, and future social experiences are intended to provide safe and respectful engagement.

Users must:

• Be respectful.
• Avoid personal attacks.
• Protect their privacy and the privacy of others.
• Follow Community Guidelines.

Glimmers may remove content or restrict participation where community standards are violated.

For safety reasons, users may not share:

• Phone numbers.
• Email addresses.
• Home addresses.
• School names and identifying details.
• Social media handles.
• Passwords.
• Financial information.
• Government identification information.

Glimmers may automatically block, mask, review, or remove content containing such information.

Journals, reflections, emotional check-ins, and similar features are intended to help children express themselves and reflect on experiences.

Journal content is private by default.

However, users acknowledge that:

• Safety systems may review content.
• Human moderators may review content where safety concerns are detected.
• Parents may receive safety-related notifications where appropriate.

Glimmers does not guarantee absolute confidentiality of content where safeguarding obligations require intervention.

Glimmers may provide AI-powered features including Lumiri.

These features may:

• Ask reflection questions.
• Recommend activities.
• Support emotional learning.
• Provide educational suggestions.

AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate.

Lumiri and other AI features:

• Are not therapists.
• Are not medical professionals.
• Do not diagnose conditions.
• Do not provide treatment.
• Do not provide crisis support.
• Do not replace trusted adults or professional services.

Users should not rely on AI-generated content as professional advice.

Users may create and submit content including:

• Journal entries.
• Artwork.
• Messages.
• Images.
• Videos.
• Activity submissions.
• Creative projects.
• Competition entries.

Users retain ownership of content they create.

By submitting content, users grant Glimmers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, process, moderate, and use such content for the operation and improvement of the Services.

Content may be removed if it violates these Terms or poses safety concerns.

Glimmers reserves the right to:

• Review content.
• Remove content.
• Restrict accounts.
• Disable features.
• Escalate safety concerns.
• Preserve moderation records.
• Report unlawful activity where required by law.

Moderation decisions may be made using automated systems, human reviewers, or a combination of both.

The Parent Dashboard provides educational insights, engagement summaries, and safety-related information.

The Parent Dashboard:

• Is not a diagnostic tool.
• Does not provide psychological assessments.
• Does not provide complete visibility into a child's thoughts or emotions.

Parents should use dashboard insights as conversation starters and support tools.

Glimmers may offer:

• Olympiads.
• Workshops.
• Afterschool programs.
• Weekend programs.
• Competitions.
• Community events.

Additional participation requirements may apply.

Glimmers reserves the right to:

• Modify schedules.
• Change formats.
• Update rules.
• Reschedule events.
• Cancel events where necessary.

Participants are expected to act honestly, respectfully, and responsibly.

Certain Services may require payment.

By purchasing a subscription, users agree that:

• Fees will be clearly disclosed before payment.
• Applicable taxes may apply.
• Subscription renewals may occur automatically where disclosed.
• Cancellation policies will apply as described during purchase.

Refund eligibility will be governed by the applicable Refund Policy.

All content, trademarks, software, educational materials, graphics, designs, AI systems, branding, and platform features are owned by Glimmers Inc. or its licensors.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or exploit platform materials without written permission.

Glimmers may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts where:

• These Terms are violated.
• Safety concerns arise.
• Fraudulent activity is detected.
• Required consent is withdrawn.
• Legal obligations require action.

Termination decisions may be made without prior notice where necessary to protect users or the platform.

The Services are provided on an "as available" basis.

While Glimmers strives to maintain a safe and reliable platform, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, complete accuracy, or error-free operation.

Glimmers is not a healthcare provider, therapist, counselor, medical service, or emergency response service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glimmers Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the Services.

Users acknowledge that participation in digital communities, educational programs, and AI-assisted experiences carries inherent risks.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

Glimmers may update these Terms periodically.

Where material changes are made, users may be asked to review and accept updated Terms before continuing to use the Services.

Continued use after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
