Where More Than One Answer Can Be Right
Children this age are used to questions having a single correct answer. AIQ deliberately asks ones that do not, and rewards the child who can say why they chose theirs.

The capabilities are the same across every band. How they are put to a child is not.

How is this different from a school Olympiad?
School Olympiads test a subject faster and harder. AIQ tests how a child thinks when there is no subject to fall back on.
Can my child prepare?
Not by memorising. Preparation resources focus on getting comfortable with open questions rather than rehearsing answers.
